Jamie Kane

CMO, Luro Health

Jamie Kane, MD is the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Luro Health. He is also Chief of Obesity Medicine and Director of the Center for Weight Management at Northwell Health. There he oversees multiple clinics, an obesity medicine fellowship, and key educational programs for residents. Dr. Kane is a senior contributor to the American Board of Obesity Medicine’s, is co-chair of The Obesity Society’s Policy and Advocacy Committee, and was a founding member of the Tri-State Obesity Society. His research focuses on lifestyle interventions for disadvantaged patients, plant-based dietary approaches, and mindfulness in obesity management. He is a nationally recognized speaker on obesity and nutrition.
